SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--A property trust managed by international investment and advisory firm Babcock & Brown Ltd. (BNB.AU) Monday said it has pulled out of a deal to acquire a 5.1% stake in a Japanese property fund managed by Allco Finance Group (AFG.AU).

Babcock & Brown Japan Property Trust (BJT.AU) said it has terminated a swap agreement to acquire 21 million units in Rubicon Japan Trust (RJT.AU)

RJT has been in discussions with its financiers seeking amendments to foreign exchange hedging arrangements to stem further margin calls that were triggered earlier this month after the recent appreciation of the Japanese yen against the Australian dollar.
