Whilst listening to NST's recent Financial Results Web Presentation I came across an analysts question relating to the seeming delay/downgrading of the CTP. Bill Beaumont's response was:-
"Its an exciting district and we're still working through it there...and still liaising with out JV partners....so we're still working behind the scenes corporately with these guys...so it's not off the cards at all so don't write it off please"
I think the main stumbling block is the potential extension of the Repulse resource that sits beneath the existing plant highlighted in last years drilling. Obviously it's expensive to relocate the plant but the financial benefits probably makes it commercially worthwhile especially if capacity is also increased at the same time.
Hopefully both sets of directors can find the middle ground to reactivate mining of this exceptional open ended resource.
