It might be a sort or direct form of 20 questions and answers. This is where someone asks a purely random generic question about an object that comes to their mind which is not disclosed to anyone else and someone else gives a random answer consistent with the question about an object comes to their mind and again does not disclose the objct. The person who answered then asks a question to somebody else who has not asked a question. The questioning and answering continues but must be consistent with all the previous questions and answers.
The theory is that after about 20 cycles, an object has been so obvious to everyone that no further random questions and answers can result in anything different.
