Yes, I would certainly have expected from a credible management team an announcement along the lines of "wells bla bla bla have been temporarily shut in while bla bla operations are performed"
It is not proper to say wells are on production and the let the market see no revenue to back up their production. The market is left in the dark and nobody knows what's going on?
As davo said, did production decline that rapidly? Were they legitimately shut in to perform other works that couldn't be performed with these wells producing? Were there problems with burst pipes? Were they deemed "non commercial" and "abandoned" as per the Government records??
Nobody knows. It is absolute baloney.
