sometimes watso likes to amuse himself and cook a bit of homestyle rubbish .. but it is time consuming blah blah ...

but how is this for an alternative easy to prepare dinner .. start with aldi 400gm beef lasagna (and not the the 2kg as per the pic below) and only $2.99

watso uses only half (ie 200gm) .. so need to add some extras ..

... spudshed have rice cups .. $1 per packet .. but two cups per packet ..\

    ... spudshed also have 800gm frozen corn/peas for $1

... aldi also have good sardines for less than $1/can.. and 1kg devon polony knobs for sub $5

... always cheap carrots and spuds at spud shed .. easy to cook some in the microwave ...

anyway a bit if a mix and match .. and lazy fat slobs like watso .. can still eat well at a watso approved price .. and with very little effort..

(ok last meal that watso had was 200gm aldi lasagne - with can of aldi sardines; good priced tomatoes and good priced cauli from spud shed (which watso had cooked a few days ago...
and mmm dessert was from $1/kg rtc yoplait yoghurt .. with strawberries .. also from spudshed
    ) ...

and washed down with a few bottles of tawny from aldi.. 750ml @ $4.69/bottle

THE GREAT FATSO .. LIVING THE HIGH LIFE .. ON THE CHEAP

(total cost of meal .. including 3 bottles of the finest port- was less than $20)
