I am not sure if I would use Uber as something for any tech company to aspire to emulate given the amount of money they have lost and the uncertainty if they will ever make a profit. Having said this Uber has spent more than a 1000x what GSW has on R&D - while Uber might not succeed, replicating what they have is not trivial.
