I've been watching the Top (Honey) Sellers on Amazon US.
Since hitting no. 3 a month back, we have been sitting between 25 - 50 ranking. Slowly more and more rankings comments too, with 227 reviews.
I noticed that when we hit no. 3, we were Amazons choice for "raw honey", which I assume would cost a premium. We are now Amazons choice for "meluka honey", so I suppose its about brand awareness. They have also tested "eucalyptus honey" and "honey for candle making" search queries, both didn't do too well.
The U.S honey market potential is massive. Just wonder if we would get better margin in China ?
