Not that simple. Netflix would need to outbid local content providers (FTA, Foxtel) for the rights to stream content to Australia and NZ.

Maybe it's not much to a $20b company, but when you have a $170b company going all out to steal some of your home market where you make all your money, it probably wouldn't be a priority.
