Kat that statement is just a negative absolute and isn't constructive to discussion.

One of the points of my original post was that Netflix entered the UK and it didn't bury Lovefilm.

I think there's plenty of room for Netflix especially to spend money on promoting online streaming in Australia. If anything it might push Amazon to enter the frame earlier through a takeover or buy in - the speculation alone would only help QFX's sp in the short term.

As we all know a big benefit of having a strong competitor like Netflix enter Australia is they would develop the market for streaming, QFX just needs to keep up with its content and pricing, so it wasn't left behind. From the content I see on Netflix UK, I think QFX would do it easy.

I'm just trying to compare the UK situation with the Australian context. Whether thats the right comparison or whether the US content (I presume is much better) is more relevant a comparison is something id like to know.
