Interesting to see Amazon's offer released today. Key points are that delivery will cost $6-$20 depending on speed and location. $6 for 2+ day delivery in major cities.
Based on my quick review, the prices of household/cleaning products etc don't appear consistently cheaper than TRS, and in many cases more expensive. And that's before the delivery cost is included.
As many retailers have said, they wanted Amazon to launch so that the market will focus on the reality rather than the perception of what Amazon might be. And given discount variety retailers in US and Canada continue to thrive despite Amazon, in my view TRS's own retail execution will be the key to its growth rather than Amazon.
