Thankfully, ppl are starting to realize that the many in here who said Amazon's entry into Aust was a yawn have been proven to be correct. No amount of opinions/views could be as convincing as the reality. Like any retailer, it will sometimes be more expensive and other times less expensive. The reality was that, in Australia at least, delivery was always going to be a killer.

The other minor note of caution is that many of the existing retailers specifically lowered prices to ensure competitiveness for the Amazon roll out. That's a good thing for consumers, of course. But don't forget, retailers like TRS, JBH, etc have a very good supply chain, and that's a hard thing to replicate for any incoming competitor, no matter how expert they have been in their home country.
