Amx have finalised agreements for a further 750km2 around the Batie West gold province.
Amx are continuing to use the artisnal gold miners as a pin point vector for exploration targets
Ampella’s landholding at Batie West is now one of the largest contiguous land packages in Burkina Faso and host the largest unmined gold deposit in the country.
No modern day exploration has yet been undertaken on the new Permits.
According to Dr Kitto ,such structural settings are known to result in unique pressure shadow environs which can host world-class gold deposits, thus, aggressive exploration on the new permits will begin immediately.
Kitto said , “Ampella continues to deliver on its promise to consolidate its already dominant land position in this exciting new gold province which has already yielded a resource of 3.1 million ounces of gold at the virgin Konkera discovery. We are looking forward to the exploration of these new areas, which are particularly exciting, even in the context of what is already evident at Batie West.”
