Or just ship the concentrate to Hamburg for LMax processing. Much closer to sources of Sulphuric Acid and by product end users.
Long term I don't believe sourcing enough Mica will be an issue.
PLS originally formed their agreement with Cobre for Mica processing using LMax. So they obviously have a bit. Looks highly likely that GXY are piling up some Mica tailings etc etc.
We get our phase 1 plant up and running and these bigger guys will see the value of investing in some Mica concentrating capacity to sell as offtake to LPD. The investment needed to do so was between $2-10m depending on existing Spodumene concentration set up, float tanks etc. According to @2Chance.
That offers a very good rate of return and margin boosting exercise, on what was previously considered a waste product.
Man, I'm getting really excited about the future for LPD. It's all starting to line up very nicely.
