    I think it is fair to say that the "hunman condition" is to resist rapid change.

    I have all but decided that the rate of change we are considering in this thread is generally slow enough for there to be no mass recognition of change.

    I am also quite sure those planning for and positioning emerging BRIC economies are thinking in time units of decades, not years, months and even days as seems to be the case with those governing mature western economies ???
