They probably laid the money out on the table and then asked would they prefer the money go to Russia because Russia are very keen to sell us weapons.
Or was it that Iran have been buying up massive hoards of Russian equipment and this is a delicate balancing act?
Or was it that Russia themselves have been asserting their power in the middle east and the US are readjusting accordingly and sending a signal to Russia instead of being like Hillary who wanted a prematue war with Russia?
Or is it the US, indeed Trump, is thinking $150bn-450bn over ten years or so will create a few jobs and make some wealthy men even more wealthy?

Let's be real here, the US is not the only ugly Kid on the block. In fact they are my preferred ally over Russia and China, the better looking of the three for sure.
