When I was working on a Texas ranch in 2010, the
ranch owner took me to see a Ghost Town from
which people had fled to seek work in cities
from which Big Biz had sent jobs offshore
to low wage China and Mexico. The ranch
owner asked me not to reveal the name
of the Ghost Town lest vandals wrecked
what was left. To get to the Ghost Town
