I agreed. I live in the Gong, heaps of family members have worked there. It's who you know, not what you know to get a job there.
The workers (many who are unskilled) earn way too much because the area is a Labor-Union stronghold. They actually earn twice as much as their North Star co-workers, while being less efficient and less productive.
It's a company that has been bailed out way too many times by shareholders and governments. It really should be closed down like Newcastle!
Focus on the USA.... and shut down Port Kembla.
