It looks like Vladimir Putin has won a court battle over NewsCorp succession.
From the moment Murdoch left Australia, NewsCorp has poisoned US society IMO. Social and political divisiveness was bad beforehand but it's catastrophic now.
NewsCorp may have just passed up an opportunity to return the company to news reporting rather than a news and opinion creation agency. I don't have a problem with the non-political entertainment operations and the like. Let's wait and see.
All said though, the current political influence direction isn't likely sustainable and shareholders don't appreciate losses.
