My family bread Force command dogs and dropping is essential along with visual commands - when out of sight you can yell -when voice of owner is compromised the visual sign can take over -you can even train it to look for you if it cant keep a fix on you for some reason -drop is a yeild command and is wextremely infomative for other dogs to not feel threatened.
Definitely, train your dog - The more expensive, the better the course IMO.
You wont regret it. And i feel that 99% of dog breed, will turn out the same after intense training, Pit Bull, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Jack Russell, Kelpie, Alsatian, Husky, or otherwise...don't bother with King Charles Cocker-Spaniels, their eyes are bulging because brains are squashed via in-breeding and no amount of training will stop them from being...what's the word? - (its insulting anyway lol)
