watso has been buying aldi coffee for years ,, and a 200 gm jar was $3.69.. then not so long ago it was about $4.50.. and this morning it was about $5.29 ... ie 50% increase in about one year ...

and what about the australian price of eggs??? .. watso has not bought eggs for a long time - but still has about half a dozen in the fridge ... they are probably valuable enough, that watso could strike a bargain with a chickybabe, who was needing eggs ...

anyway woolies have reduced the price of a non brand cheese down to $9.90.. from $10.50 and the tasty cheese is awesome (so much so, that watso feels guilty buying the product, as he prefers to support aldi ,, and their cheese is good value) ...

for those who enjoy a night cap (or a night bottle) then the $5 chancellor & co tawny is great value

(look online for your nearest retailer )

go hunting in the right shopping precinct and good bananas were $2/kg (lol lol really $1.99) .. but the 3 majors in the same shopping centre had bananas for $4.50 up to $4.90 .. ... also good watermelon for $1.29/kg (half the price of the majors) ...

mmm onions at aldi were $1.50/kg bag .. which price matched spudshed 2kg @ 2.99

THIS MORNINGS MARKET REPORT PRESENTED BY WATSO ON HC

    (
Forget that market report from one of the majors ... that was just advertising/promotion rubbish )
