Klown, probably all of that is true and some opinions expressed against Saddam also. The whole issue has more facets than most of us can understand. The real question is- Why is Howard so keen to jump into a war with the middle East? It won't be a contained war or a short war, so why is Australian putting it's hand up before war is even declared. It's time Howard and that fool Downer showed a little statesmenship. Perhaps they should read some history and they would find that foreign powers have been triying to reshape the Middle East since the 12th century, and in the last century the mainly British meddling created some of the problems that exist today.
Another question, if Iraq led by Saddam is so evil and has to bombed into submission, why are we trading with them? The irony of the hue and cry over wheat sales to a country we are threatening to go to war with !!
