I don't see TBs reputation on the line with SOA or Defender....

I don't see TBs reputation on the line with SOA or Defender. Infact the Niobrara has already been very successful with the sale to CHK for 74M.

I know the main focus is currently on the Hawk Springs Project and yes it does have some risk associated with it and TB has said this many times.

Its the Roosevelt project which i think has the far greater chance of success

1. Because of the availability of acquiring up to 90000 acres

2. There are many wells surrounding SSN acreage already with excellent results further derisking the project.

3. SSN purchased the acreage at very low prises compared to other Bakken leases

4. HAL still wants to be partnered with SSN in the Roosevelt project

5. SSN have the Red River as a possible conventional target which Hartleys put a value of up to 1 Billion dollars.

SSN still has plenty of ammo to fire regardless of the Hawk Springs Project and I also have allot of respect for TB and his decision making.

I believe both project have a very exciting future which we will know more very shortly.
