NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures retained healthy gains Thursday after economic data had weekly jobless claims last week falling to below 400,000 and third-quarter productivity rising 3.1%. But Wall Street's attention was also fixated on events in Europe, with the British Broadcasting Corp. reporting Greek's prime minister would offer to resign. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJ1Z +1.05% rose 95 points to 11,863. Futures for the S&P 500 Index SP1Z +1.39% added 9.10 points to 1,243.30. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 ND1Z +0.84% climbed 8 points to 2,322.50.
