@Aotea, it is simply like a "parable" where you use a simple story to illustrate what might be happening.

And I disagree that we can stick to the "facts", as you say. What are the facts? In the issue at hand there are no facts because we have not been given said facts ie the results of a massive amount of digging and drilling.

Hence posters rightly start to look at what might be happening behind the scenes. This requires a certain level of conjecture?
