My first post, perhaps I am playing join the dots with the skill of an infant child. So here goes. My thoughts are that this company, and possibly the industry has a rough expectation, ratio or formula they follow in the initial phases of securing deals, and then laying them in concrete. If we were to apply the same ratio of upfronts to final deal worth and value, where does this place the latest deal for UNIS?
$15M non refundable deposit already down, with the entire upfront value yet to be known.
Apply the same ratio as the Xencor deal, $45M total upfront equating to a total deal value of $1.7B,
Consider a possible $67.5M total upfront from Amgen........and UNIS could possibly be signing a deal worth $2.5Billion as a starting point for an ongoing relationship. Most interested to hear what others believe to be a reasonable upfront....
