Agreed, if they can deliver on those details then there's no reason for the SP to remain where it is. Federation is brilliant, I want to own ami because of it (and did so until Dargues was purchased). Imo further clarification around funding is required and some operational improvements observed prior. In doing so I acknowledge that there's potential for missing some of that revaluation you've mentioned.
