Dan joined Aurelia Metals as ManagingDirector and CEO in November 2019.
Dan is a Mining Engineer with more than25 years of experience across the industry. He was most recently the ManagingDirector and CEO of Stanmore Coal Limited (ASX: SMR) (Stanmore), a role he heldfrom November 2016 to October 2019. During his tenure there, Stanmore sawsignificant growth in both output and profitability at its flagship IsaacPlains metallurgical coal mine in Queensland. This dynamic was reflected inStanmore’s strong share price performance over this period.
Prior to this, Dan was CEO of SolidEnergy New Zealand Limited from March 2014 to November 2016. He guided thecompany through a period of significant financial pressure and challengingmarket conditions, including leading an asset sales program. Dan has also heldsenior technical and operational positions for Glencore plc, Anglo American plcand BHP Group Limited.
