After comparing AMI with some well known ASX gold miners using fairly basic criteria, here's an interesting statistic I gleaned from an app I'm using. Below is the ownership fraction of institutional investors for AMI compared to these gold miners that have a range of MC's :-

Some of these numbers might be a bit out of date, but I was very surprised to see AMI well up the list given that it is not a pure gold player, and has an MC only a fraction of the others. I guess the instos must have decided AMI is going somewhere and worth a punt ! All IMHO, DYOR
