INT smarts will have many hardware components made by third party suppliers. It is the Management System (software code) that is the major IP component.

You still have to make the hardware work with the software as a total package. INT have this.

Eg. Microsoft sell software but need hardware to run on, IBM, DELL, TOSHIBA and they in turn have chip sets, i.e. Intel etc.

There are many companies that win in the food chain.
