I am kind of surprised by the lagging performance of AMI in the face of surging metal prices since they released their Q4 FY2020 report. The masses have their eyes glued to the skyrocketing precious metal prices but let's not forget that the base metal prices have gone up quite handsomely with zinc and copper hitting new highs. Lead price too is on the rise. All these bodes well for AMI as they increase the by-product credits translating to a lower AISC.
Hartley's in their 22July update valued AMI at $0.80 with the following assumptions.
Using this sensitivity table below, I arrived at $1.21 what AMI is worth with today's metal prices and FX.
At today's price, AMI is indeed a bargain vs. it's intrinsic value. May it propel to greater heights in the near future.
