how is that we can be taxed on earnings not received? If the earnings are retained by the fund, surely it should be treated as capital gains attributable to the unit price.... Anyone else had this surprise for FY22??

I asked my mate. He stated that there was something different that he hadn't heard of when he did his last tax statement and he thinks because it is a hedge fund it is taxed differently.
Both of us are not experts so this is all I can add ha!
