AML Diagnosis - things to know

Hello everybody,

I am a 3 year holder of Race Oncology, initially invested around these levels and have kept buying shares whenever I have been able to, even in the all time highs.
I have never posted before but I have read the various discussion threads almost daily as I find it incredibly helpful in researching Race. I believe this is one of the more informative discussion groups on Hotcopper, even though the share price is as volatile as it is.

The reason for this post is because a dear friend was diagnosed yesterday with AML.
Please excuse me if a thread like this has been created before or if this is off topic to most Race holders.

I wanted to ask if any of you have personal experience with the disease and if you have any information that is good to know for the patient/family at that time. Any questions that should be asked of the doctors. Or how you can know if Bisantrene would be a good fit (we are in Europe).
