My friend in the UK was very sick, having a terrible time due to the chemo. I wanted to visit over Xmas but had to change plans. Unfortunately missed an opportunity to go later due to COVID travel shutdowns. Next I heard she had passed :-(
My mother passed 2 weeks after diagnosis. Secondary cancer in the liver and they never found out where it started. Fortunately she never had to experience chemo and we had enough time to spend quality time with her.
