The problem with the AUSTRAC case is it has asymmetric pay-offs and CBA is negatively affected guilty or innocent. Look at the negative publicity and drop in share price, yet they might well be cleared of any wrong doing.
What if AUSTRAC is wrong, where is the penalty for the government? They should pay compensation to CBA.
