I asked my broker for advice last week (this should probably be in the Humour section) on what was a good speculative buy ready to sell for profit mid year. My broker recommended AMP, TLS and SUN. When he mentioned AMP I made a very negative sound and expressed concern at this recommendation. After a couple more minutes of chat I said OK what do you think is the best buy at the moment in terms of share price return in a few months. My broker again recommended AMP and that it would go down 10 to 20 per cent first because of the war and market in general. My broker said AMP is rather like BHP was. So I am now the owner of some at $8.12.
