It is very hard to argue against that statement.
You just have to look at the NTA and the question that gets asked is how can a financial services company , which normally you would expect to trade well above nta , be trading so low.
I think the answer is partly that , rightly or wrongly , AMP is on the nose reputation wise.
They are also seen as inefficient and high cost and inwardly focused.
This limits their ability to leverage the assets they have.
Throw in the flight from fum , and loss management mandates and a lot of people see this as a downward spiral.

The company may well get taken over, if only bit by bit , but that will be a bit sad for people who have held from much higher levels, because no-one will take it over at anything other than bargain basement prices.
Fix their reputation, reorganise their structures, and it should start trading more in line with its worth.
