AMP Limited has announced a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) whereby eligible shareholders have the opportunity to purchase up to a maximum of AUD 15,000 worth of shares.THE ISSUE PRICE WILL BE THE LESSER OF THE PLACEMENT PRICE (MAXIMUM) OR A 2.5PC DISCOUNT TO THE VOLUME WEIGHTED AVERAGE PRICE (VWAP) OVER 5 BUSINESS DAYS UP TO THE APPLICATIONS CLOSE DATE. ELIGIBLE HOLDERS MAY APPLY FOR ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS, (A) AUD 1,000. (B) AUD 2,500. (C) AUD 5,000. (D) AUD 7,500. (E) AUD 10,000. OR (F) AUD 15,000.THE OFFER UNDER THE SPP NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH THE LIMIT IN ASIC CLASS ORDER (CO09/425 ).
