There are less shares by 10%. On your basis of 10% less market value, that would at least show shares remain same value - but future profits (assumed unchanged) are spread over 10% less shares so the price will go UP.
Incidentally, there are not 3.2 billion shares being bought back - that is the size of the pool they are being bought from.
