there was an AMP policy for senior managers and directors to hold shares. Murray only bought after the price had dropped by about 30% since he was appointed after he decided to sell the insurance business.
so using his purchase of shares at $2.30 over 8 months ago based on different assumptions is not a sensible way to value AMP today.
