I don't think 4 cents ongoing dividend is achievable or desirable. They need to retain the cash for growth otherwise they will be sitting duck. Amp, after all, is now a tiny small financial company.
If they do sizeable buy back, maybe $1.5 billion, this will support current share price and future dividend. But knowing the management, they won't do it. That path is hard and full of opposition, it's easier just to give the cash back. There is no long term planning
