Posters are making reference to the Share purchase plan being priced at $5.23 or less.
My reading of the SPP was that the price would be the lower of (the Inst Price $5.50) and (the average price over the 15 days following the close of the offer, reduced by 5%). There is no mention of the $5.50 being reduced by 5%.
Is it true that the shareholders to be offered the SPP will be those who hold shares at the close of trading today? The notice said that the record date is today.
Just in case this is true, I bought 100 shares today, so that I effectively have a call option on $5000 worth of shares for the next month or so. Pretty cheap option, I would have thought.
Sentiment: Fantastic. I sold my allocation on the first day for $24, and have watched them fall since.
