Hey, I do alright buddy!
The only time I touched AMP was with a couple of Put Warrants on the way down from $10 to $6!
It’s just a case that there is a common theme here that these guys seem totally devoid of contrition or any sense of accountability.
Fine, you have to pay big bikkies to get the “talent” or they go elsewhere. OK not arguing that point.
I trade and I accept the risk. I also attempt to take an informed position and protect my capital.
The problem arises when these guys gild the lily and dress mutton up as lamb.
There’s a human face to this that never gets fully taken into account.
It’s the ill-informed grandmother, the well meaning father and the working class couple believing that they have invested in a company that is going to be around in 50 or 100 years time while Batchelor, Rich, Adler (later 2 a slightly different kettle of fish, granted) and their ilk knowingly drive these companies into the ground.
Fine, the law is deficient, there is no getting around that but it’s a club and people need to recognise that.
A dirty, greedy, unscrupulous & incestuous little club.
That’s all there is to it.
