I don't accept your proposition that a large section of society, ie 'old white guys' think they can harass people. That is offensive to me and many of my generation. I am proud to be an old white guy as you put it, and I and most others do not support any form of harassment. In any event Boe could not be described as an old white guy.
You also have to take into account the nature of the incident, presumably relatively minor as no police action, the fact that it was outside work hours at some sort of work related party with presumably alcohol involved, the fact that AMP dealt with it and the woman involved was well compensated. Are you saying that for one minor indiscretion Boe is unemployable. You might have a case if the matter was swept under the carpet and covered up by AMP, but it wasn't. It was dealt with. Just let the guy do his job and turn this company around.
