I'm not buying it about them preferring to have amp life on the sidelines (just my opinion). surely they would vote to keep the fund going if they could.

I tried to buy a few at around 82c but was behind the times and missed out. I think it has gone ahead a little too far for me, given the possibility it may take a while to get the funds out of china.

Assuming logistically time permits, my bet is that AMP make some last minute revisions to increase the amount of investors that may redeem at NTA and/or a larger and firmer committment to buyback shares. If they do not do this they are pretty much saying good bye to their jobs I would say if I am correct in thinking how much votes the activist shareholders have.
