Now that the US Mid term election is over, the US market is up over 2%, so I'd expect a similar response on the AU market today.
AMP slid back Yesterday, probably some profit taking. But I'd expect a reversal of that today as bargain hunters come back to the market now that all seems calmer in the US. This normally is a very good time for shares after the election
and leading up to Christmas.
Hopefully there will be some more good news from AMP relating to share buybacks which will also have a positive impact on the share price.
De Ferrari must be chomping at the bit to get started, he will be to coming in with both feet running. He has a mammoth task ahead of him, but his reward will be great if and when he gets the company back on track again.
Big Bonus for him if he gets it back above $5, so that certainly will encourage him even more to work harder.
