On my calcs the discount is excessive, it seems it's being applied to the business as a whole.
I see 10% reduction (23) on bank earnings ONLY.
A further 10% in 24 all being =. (Bank earning only)
EU central banks have already dropped rates. The US imo will drop in March. if AU follows broker forecasts for AMP NIM's FY24 go out the door.
Then there's no consideration for lets say a further 200m shares wiped from the register.
