I also bought hard into Phoenix Group PLC two months ago, a Life insurer and annuities provider (similar to AMP's China Life), but its running now which is good.
But where is my capital back up.???
So again AMP becomes the sacrificial life.
I use margin loans, but I don't like them continuously extended. Margin loan facilities are good to grab opportunities, but margin loans are exactly that, buying on margin. Don't keep them on continuous margin, when the market presents opportunities, reduce the margin!!
So this is more about me, than anything specific to AMP
