Came across this bit of information which I am sure LT holders will be pleased to read:
- Analysts at E&P Capital expect fuel retailer Ampol (ALD) to announce A$1/share special dividend in February and a further A$0.5/share in August
- Says it is possible that the Aussie firm launches A$500 mln ($334.25 mln) share buyback within a year if refining stays at current levels
- Brokerage adds Ampol's balance sheet can sustain special dividends as well share buybacks out to 2027
- Raises NPAT estimates by 7% for calendar year 2023
- Six of 10 analysts rate the stock "buy" or higher and four "hold"; their median PT is A$37.50
