the share price is a function of the market cap and vice versa. What was the dollar value of the deal? ? that is more relevant .
The price of $4 means very little if they have a lesser amount of shares than amx has on the register. Eg. a company with 100mill shares on issue @ $4 a share - would've had a deal worth 400mill. If amx has $4 a share - it would be worth around 1billion. Understand how it works?
But , don't worry, your not the first to overlook the meaning of market cap as a function of share price here.. ;) lol
