I guess the similarity is they both are focused on gold, but...

    I guess the similarity is they both are focused on gold, but after that the differences dominate

    DRM have found 270,000 JORC equity ounces since March 2010 (say 2 years) at a discovery rate of about 150k ounces per year.

    AMX have found 3 m ounces of JORC gold in 3 years at about a discovery rate of about 1 m ozs per year.

    This is in rough terms an order of magnitude difference on discovery performance, which could infer several things

    1. The geology/mineralised scale is on Ampella's side...very large scale...possibly heading towards the 5 -10 m ozs...

    2. The exploration is easier in West Africa...less cover, easier ground access, have "large non conventional prospecting team of 10,000 artisinals"

    The grade is on DRMs side, but big predators like big targets as a rule of thumb, so AMX would be the bet.

    Lots of other things to consider.
